Steep Canyon Rangers

Americana band Steep Canyon Rangers kick off the BRAVO! Series’ celebration of America’s musical heritage with their Grammy-winning blend of traditional bluegrass forms and contemporary songwriting. Hailing from North Carolina, the Rangers incorporate regional storytelling and literary influence into their craft and have long occupied a singular space in American roots music.

Stephen Wilkes: America at 250

Experience five decades of American history through photography. Fine art photographer and speaker Stephen Wilkes, best known for his groundbreaking Day to Night images, presents a talk that celebrates America’s 250th birthday. Capturing fifty years of America’s people, landscapes, and culture, America at 250 offers a powerful visual reflection on change, resilience, and the moments that define us.

Emmet Cohen presents Miles and Coltrane at 100

Celebrate the 100th birthdays of John Coltrane and Miles Davis as pianist Emmet Cohen's all-star quintet boldly reimagines the music that forever changed the course of jazz. Featuring saxophonist Tivon Pennicott and trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, this dynamic ensemble will celebrate these geniuses in Miles and Coltrane at 100.

Utah Symphony: Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5

Let Utah Symphony transport you as the renowned orchestra performs Tchaikovsky’s transcendent Fifth Symphony, led by guest conductor Domingo Hindoyan, in a return performance at BYU! The program pairs Tchaikovsky’s high romanticism with two allegorical works, including Bernstein’s thrilling Serenade, featuring guest violinist Maria Ioudenitch.

For Heroes Proved: A Veterans Day Celebration with the BYU Wind Symphony featuring Laura Osnes

Honor our nation’s veterans with this patriotic tribute concert performed by BYU Wind Symphony. The band will be joined by guest soloist Laura Osnes, known for her Tony-nominated Broadway performances (Cinderella and Bonnie & Clyde) and TV credits, including five Hallmark Channel original movies. In honor of their service, local veterans and their immediate families are invited to attend free of charge.*

This boundary-expanding performance from Grammy-winning guitarist Mark Lettieri and sitar virtuoso Purbayan Chatterjee brings to life the sound-world of their collaborative album of the same name. Rooted in Indian classical tradition and modern jazz and rock, Feathered Creatures both honors the past and soars into the future. East and West meet not as opposites but as partners, dissolving borders between tradition and innovation.

An American Songbook Valentine with Dez Duron

Savor a Valentine’s dinner concert with those you love as The Voice finalist and Broadway star Dez Duron performs your favorite standards from the Great American Songbook. In partnership with BYU Alumni, the BRAVO! Series will donate a portion of each ticket sale to a local charity.

Stanley Clarke and Hiromi along with the PUBLIQuartet: A Celebration of the Music of Chick Corea and Beyond

Hear Grammy-winning bassist Stanley Clarke and innovative pianist Hiromi pay tribute to Chick Corea in a program of Corea’s works and original compositions inspired by the late, great jazz pianist. Honoring their long histories with Corea and their shared musical journey with each other, Clarke and Hiromi bring audiences a striking program featuring string ensemble PUBLIQuartet.

Dive into an unforgettable underwater adventure with State Street Ballet's The Little Mermaid. The Santa Barbara–based ballet company reimagines the classic story in a family-friendly production with colorful sets and costumes, life-size puppets, and a sweeping original score. You and your family are invited to embark with the Little Mermaid on her courageous journey beneath and above the waves.

Emmanuel Ceysson

Principal harpist of the LA Philharmonic Emmanuel Ceysson brings his “virtually flawless” technique (Washington Post) to BYU. Born and raised in France, Ceysson has collected several distinctions and prizes, from the gold medal at the 2004 USA International Harp Competition to first prize at the 2009 ARD International Music Competition. This solo recital will feature the prodigious musicianship that Ceysson has presented in prestigious venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall and Wiener Konzerthaus, now performed in BYU’s Recital Hall.

Enter the heart and mind of the celebrated writer in this one-of-a-kind stage experience. Award-winning actor Max McLean’s tour de force performance captures C.S. Lewis’s magnetic personality, astonishing eloquence, and laugh-out-loud wit to create an onstage journey into the soul of one of the most influential thinkers of the past century.

Utah Symphony: Beloved Baroque: Bach, Haydn, & Vivaldi

Enjoy vivid, radiant, and immediately recognizable 18th-century works performed by Utah Symphony. The renowned Nicholas McGegan brings his baroque expertise to this program in collaboration with BYU Singers and Concert Choir as they perform Vivaldi’s Gloria, a joyous masterpiece for choir and orchestra. The concert will also include Bach's “Brandenburg” Concerto No. 4 and Haydn’s Ave Regina in an evening made for lovers of all things bright, classic, and refined.
