Men on Boats is the true(ish) history of an 1869 expedition, when a one-armed captain and an unruly crew of explorers set out to chart the course of the Colorado River. Inspired by actual travelogs, this sly comedy features an all-female cast portraying the all-male crew and challenges our preconceptions about history, masculinity, and the events that shape our stories.
